In Chambéry, the old Jacques Dorstter Hospital, whose interior structures were incapable of coping with the rising numbers of patients, was replaced by a brand new hospital.
With the help of Plafometal’s metal ceilings, the building was completely renovated.
The customer's needs
A solution consisting of PM10 self-supporting panels with abutting sides and bevelled edges.
The architect opted for an esthetic solution consisting of two perforated panels, plus one unperforated panel in all the passageways.
Panel lengths can be adapted to the corridors. No intermediate grid that could impede the passage of ducts, etc., and an optimal installation time.
Easy to disassemble by simply lifting the panel to offer complete access to the plenum.
Harmonious integration of the equipment (signs, lights, fire protection systems, etc.).
